About downgrading my game.
Hello there, I see really few posts about downgrading your game version for DbD.

The first question I'm asking is, can I get banned for this? I'd like to get my game back to the versions of about December 2017 because I would have fun with some glitches they fixed in 2.0.0 and with instablinds.

Right now I have backed up my 2.0.0 game files, but I can't find out how you download a specific game version completely rather than only downloading the files used to update the game from the version before it.

When using the "download_depot" Steam console command, I will always get those files rather than the whole game. Is there no way at all to do this? I mean, what I'd like to do is get the same files I'd get if we were back in that month and I was installing my game for the first time, thus getting all of the required game files.

Any ideas? Maybe it's a different Steam command? Also, in the generic Steam game downgrading tutorials they never mention which depot I should be using and choosing the manifest ids of, for DbD, in the steamdb site, there's 7 depots, and I've only chosen the "Dead by Daylight Content" with id 381211. I'm kind of confused about this matter, any ideas?
you can`t acces online multiplayer with other versions than the actual, but i think you can do this with your friends, if they accept to put the version you want in their gamefiles

I'd pretty much only downgrade only for private matches purpose. The version I'm eventually trying to access is "1.7.3" (released on October 16th 2017). I'm assuming that attempting to play online with that would at most lead me to find games only with other people that downgraded their game version to that, assuming there is anyone who did. Of course I already told my friends about this, but the fact is, I'm currently having problems into properly downgrading to that version as it appears that the Engine and the EasyAntiCheat folders aren't downloaded in any of the depots. I still have to test whether something had interrupted my first DbD content download, preventing those folders from downloading; I believe they're the only files I'm missing.

As I mentioned, I'm not looking for an actual early version, and I'm instead interested into 1.7.3. I'm unsure whether the full game files for that version are available online, thus I'm wondering how I could be building it together by myself. I noticed that the 7 depots that are in steamdb are all in the current game files, thus I got them all according to the release dates and I'll next need to download the DbD content, which for some reason didn't include some of the required folder the last time I downloaded it. Maybe I have not enough disk space, but since my internet is really slow I must start this download later when going to sleep. I'll update this forum as soon as I can, maybe it was my mistake but since these forums appear to lack of any guide on how to build any version you'd like to, I believe that this thread could be still useful.

What's fitgirlpack? I searched for Dead by Daylight 1.7.3 on google, but I found nothing.
type this into the steam console and ALL files should properly download to the depot folder, all you have to from there is move the files to your steam directory and name it "Dead by Daylight". download_depot 381210 381211 2086225259727701228
