Legacy
Hey,

so, this is more a question of people’s experience about “hacking” legacy. As far as I know, it is pretty easy to find out if someone hacked legacy by just checking the achievements. Ofc, you can do your profile private , but all in all, people can still report you for what ever reason. So my question is, does anyone actually know what the Developers can see? Are they allowed from Steam to see when this account actually activated the Key? Do they have logs when you first started the game? I assume , no one will really know that, but maybe we still find some useful answer which can actually be helpful to dodge a ban because of that.
They cannot see your achievements but they might be able to see when you started to play ( it's very unlikely but still). Anyway they can simply ban and tell you to prove u have legit legacy because you accepted their eula ( their eula is very f up)
They can ban you by looking at your Save file. If you are being to suspicious and changing your save file then they could easily ban you. If your steam profile is private then they would check i the JSON log they are able to see the amount of the games you have played. They match it up with everything else on your save file and if it does then you are fine. I would reccomend either changing the amount of games you have played and having a private steam profile or just removing legacy from your save. When remving legacy make it look legit and not like you prestiged on the same day same second and crap. Rather than that hope for the best as they won't have the time to go through your whole save file.
Recommend as in you have experience with that? If so, how many games would you recommend?
From what i have heard, they can contact Steam and ask to see the players achievements even if your profile is private, as its in their TOS conditions when you agree to play the game.

I may be wrong, but that is what i have heard through 1-2 years of hacking DBD, never hacked legacy, only shrines, BP, perks, offerings, not banned since, 2,300 Hours in game.

They cannot do that. Valves Privacy is privacy doesn't matter who they are, also if you are in EU you are under GDPR this is even better
I don't recommend having legacy, they cannot see your achievements but there are alot of things that can denote u hacked legacy in the save file.

Well, which? Also , arent you the one who knows how to change the playtime? If so, how?
I know how cumulative playtime is calculated do you want me to help you with this?
Ive heard of people having legit legacy getting banned for suspected cheating so its more of a target than anything...
Just a word of advice - if you roll out with full legacy prestige on a character and people just wonder who you are, they're going to be suspicious. To get that stuff back in the day you had to be very active and grindy. It's a magnet for suspicion, reports, etc. Even if you craft the most unsuspicious savefile, I'd recommend leaving legacy out or at least not playing with it, which means having it is kinda pointless. I know a huge chunk of people with legit legacy sets, but their number goes down constantly because they get burned out, stop playing or have lost their savefiles without having a backup. You're better off sticking to normal prestige.
