Did I mess up?

I was save file editing dbd and accidentally hit my fortnite shortcut, fortnite also uses eac but I was wondering if they have like separate applications to detect different stuff. I closed the eac launcher before it could start fortnite but I was wondering if even though fortnite eac opened up it will detect something running on dbd?

The fortnite EAC only look modfication to fortnite. It could be possible that it detect that memory was edited. but then you will only get a ban on fortnite and not on DBD.

Of course not, every Game Company that decides to use EAC on their game has to configure its anti-cheat to serve its purpose on their own game. If every game company uses the same exact version and configuration of EAC that would be horrible for their security because if it gets bypassed all games are at risk. That being, the EAC installed on Fortnite will not detect anything related to Dead by Daylight because they are two completely different games. The same goes with the EAC on DBD. This is also the reason why you can't use our bypass on Fortnite EAC, two different versions, two different configurations unique to their own game.

But you do have to be careful, general cheating tools like Cheat Engine and maybe a DLL injector could get detected by that EAC because its a general hacking tool that could potentially be used to hack the game, it is not specific to DBD. But if you opened Cloud Extract or a Savegame editor you're fine. Hope this helps

Adapting it a bit, this “Bypass” will actually work on Fortnite too. The only thing is that Fortnite always checks if EAC is still alive or else it will just disconnect you.

To the OP: It’s pretty much answered here already, as long as you didn’t inject anything to the Fortnite process , you won’t have a problem and also you would have an instant ban already.
