How does their support work

I see there is an ingame report section... I was farming with some survivors and one wasnt farming with us so I killed them off, this survivor recorded a video of the whole thing and said he was going to send it to support. I was wondering how good the support for the game is and even if I will get banned. Im pretty sure the ban is only 24hrs though so it not big of a worry
