I am going to keep this short and sweet.
I'm student currently writing a dissertation concerning pathways into cybercrime. A recent report by the NCA (National Crime Agency in the UK- a watered down version of the FBI) argued that online gaming cheat/modding forums are the ideal stepping stone to cybercriminal activities which I personally disagree with but can see the reasoning behind it.
I am looking for 5 participants to answer an online questionnaire/interview (less than 2 minutes to complete) answering questions about your gaming history and experience pre and post joining MPGH and your 'cheating' and/or modding experiencing too. The idea being that I will then ask 5 members of a cybercriminal forum the same questionnaire to disprove (or unfortunately prove) the correlation argued by the NCA. Just to reassure potential participants- I will not be using your usernames in my final draft since that qualifies as releasing potential identifiable information and in breach of several ethical laws put in place by my university.
