It doesn't work at all, since HP bars are now transparent and color changing. So no, changing your resolution will not do anything for you.

Also, it seems like we might have to wait a while before we get another external bot, since no news yet so far.

i almost got it to lock on when i was messing with my custom one last night it locks but shakes a lot then sometimes jumps off the hp bar

Have you tried it by locking onto the box that have the player level or enemy symbol in it? The one that is on the right of the HP bar. IF that could be used as a focus point (since that box itself doesn't change at all), we could then centralize the aim from the box by whatever x-values and y-values.

I would try it myself, but I don't know the AHK language at all.

I wonder where the original poster of this bot is? If we could get his view, it would be nice.

I tried using the box but the drake grey/black area is transparent. I also tried using just the number "50" that's in the box (as it seems to be the only constant solid color) and still did not have any luck.

So instead of referring to the colors.... could we possibly have it search for a specific shape? The box's dimensions, to be exact. Since it doesn't change sizes by range, couldn't that work?

If it does shrink the farther the enemy is, couldn't we just have it scan for that too? Since it would just be enlarging/shrinking via a numerical factor.

Edit: So what I mean is that it would search for the exact dimensions of the box within the search boundary that the External Bot currently has. And if we can have it find that exact shape, shouldn't that make it simple? That way, the script wouldn't be looking for a range of colors (given the current issue with transparency), but instead for a defined and consistent shape.

It does change size, but I already made a loop to solve that problem. The issue is that looking for a shape relies on detecting it, and the way for the software to recognize the shape is through color. There's no real way to just tell it to look for a box, you have to give it an image of the box to look for, and since the color of the box changes with the background, that doesn't work.
As for the healthbar, it doesn't just change color depending on the current health, either, the healthbar also has a constant subtle, but noticeable animation.

You can add color variation to the ImageSearch too:

*n (variation): Specify for n a number between 0 and 255 (inclusive) to indicate the allowed number of shades of variation in either direction for the intensity of the red, green, and blue components of each pixel's color. For example, *2 would allow two shades of variation. would someone not be able to make a gif of the hp bar changing color and then having the bot lock onto that ?

Have it look for the outline of the black box that the red bar is in.
