Anyone know how to edit the c++ code to make mods?

Thx i thought everything was written in c++. (i haven't really programmed in c++ so i just assumed)

Hey im using JPEXS to view the swf file, but when i try to edit the code it says "Not a type on line x" when i save even when i haven't edited anything. You know why?

Im not really into the script editing when making mods yet so i cant really help you there, just from what i heard its better to extract the scripts and edit them with something else.
