Help with Fitbit Ionic SE

Trying to teach myself how to do this.

Every time I try I am asked to return the product.

I have tried saying i work offshore and I'm not able to return it.

What good excuses could I use to help with this?

screen heated up and exploded and the battery is leaking. due to the battery leaking legally you can't return. although, you will need a picture for the SE.
