[Tutorial] How to update CC fast (10 min max)

This guide is not useful anymore as it was discovered that both CCs in x28 were dirty

I wanted to make this guide for those who prefer CC over 059 and are waiting for an update.

STEP 1: Get FF Decompiler: https://www.free-decompiler.com/flash/

STEP 2: Download previous CC (last legit one was *disregard this entire guide, both CCs in x28 were deemed dirty*)

STEP 3: Once downloaded, launch FF Decompiler and open CC with it.

STEP 4: Go to scripts/com/company/assembleegameclient\parameters and edit public static const MINOR_VERSION:String = "1"; to MINOR_VERSION:String = "2";

Edit in p-code, save the file, and test.

First you need a clean open source

Do I need an X.28 for this to work or can I use a clean version of CC from the past updates?

You need a clean X28 release so sorry this won't work for now.

People already have but the clean version(s) haven't been approved yet.

who knows pretty sure there has been clean versions uploaded since Thursday/Friday.

So I used the previous 28.0.2 build that was clean and changed the minor string to "3" while keeping the major at "X28.0"
Should work for the minor update since the current build is 28.0.3, right?

So I edit it either p-code or the action script and clicked saved but I just get a black screen.
What am I doing wrong?

What am I supposed to edit in the p-code as you said on the last instructions? You just said edit in p-code but no idea what to actually edit.

Go into the directory stated above and find MINOR_VERSION:String = "2"; click or select the number 2 and you should see another tab open on your right called P-Code source. Edit P-Code through the button under the tab and replace the pushstring "2" to pushstring "3"

Thank you, a bit confusing but I managed to update CC 28.0.2 safe source that rigged uploaded couple of days ago.
I uploaded it yesterday but still waiting for approval.

yeah I uploaded CC with added pet yard, fixed shop etc but they updated requirements to 200 posts and 4 months site activity so it got removed ;P
