my dbd save editor stopped working

Hi all, as today 05/08/18 (dd/mm/yy), my dbd save editor stopped working i do all the standard procedure as: bypass EAC, open cloudextract 2.0, open deadbydaylight-win64-shipping.exe, wait for the thread to be trapped, once done i open dbd save editor and i select cloudsave.txt but instead of opening the file it says "savegame file is not valid :-(" any help?

So you have to extract the cloudsave and enter 0, don't inject go to main menu and exit the game. Then when the game is off edit the save file with savegame editor then save, start CE start dbd and inject it

If you unlocked exclusive dlcs like golden Feng this will corupt your save file

You have to inject an empty one and start building it again if you don't have a backup

as it was said above, feng min's golden exclusives cause the corruption of the savefile, it becomes kinda not finished. I wasn't able to fix it simply by editing savefile code, there always was some mistake in it but maybe its simply because I'm potato brained.

solution that worked for me: swap her golden clothes in the game, lvl up couple of characters and savefile will fix itself.

That's the right thing you have to do, unless you have a backup that isn't corrupted (if you Have, inject it).
