um... what

So I made this account some time back (its possible it's not my first as I may have made one years ago on some email I'll never remember) the only purpose I've ever used this forum for is for the purposes of lurking to read specific posts. To my knowledge I've NEVER posted on MPGH.

Anyways... cut to right now, I recover my account and login due to interest in contacting a seller (keep in mind this my first time ever being interested in the marketplace on this forum) and I'm met with a message stating I've been banned for scamming.

Riddle me how an account that has never posted gets banned for scamming. I could of course make a new account but that would be evasion, it's a bit fucked my IP is now tainted when I've never done anything but lurk on this forum over the course of several years.

Disregard. I'm an idiot. It's the message that pops up when you login something about not letting your account get used for scamming. I somehow read it as I've been banned for scamming.
