Programming languages and where to start?

I've took 2 courses out of 5 for a python specialist from Coursera.org , and i took the certificate for both courses but it's always like i stop after courses because i don't know what to do where to go where to start testing my skills, and when i try to find some project to work i just get into stuff that i don't know anything about and it sometimes feels like i never learnt anything ...

I wanna start again after 1 year never tried to know a thing about programming, so what is recommended i really fall in love with programming because of 2 things i can automate things "bots" and i think some programming language are capable of hack games / cheats.

so what is is recommended language to start with? and for the first issue where idk where to go after learning how should i fix that?

For gamehacking I'd recommend C++, for software automation you're probably better off with C#.
