Incorporate a single entity company (they are called different all over the world - Basically as a freelancer) and offer your services to local companies / remote companies. Operating should be super simple and cost-effective. In Austria, you have almost zero costs up to a certain amount of revenue. This way you can sell your service in a professional way and get paid quite good (demand for Java developers is high and with the right skills you can easily make a living with it).
