If the company says they got the police involved with the investigation, it's usually a scare tactic if the order amount is low. However, even if the police do get involved, as long as you keep denying that you received the package, they have nothing on you. Just make sure there isn't any cameras that recorded you picking up the package because that's probably the only evidence they will have against you.
