Virtual Machine options?

I only need basic web browsing, which one is the best for anonymous/untracked browsing?

What do you use or is your favorite?

VMWare Fusion, Azure, VirtualBox, Windows 10 VM? I figured the official Windows VM's might have some kind of log so not sure if I want to get one of those or not. lmk if im wrong though

If you need anonymous browsing simply use tor browser

I prefer Hyper-V because of its simplicity

I personally use VMware fusion as I got it for free and I find that it’s pretty nice. My friend uses virtualbox and I heard that works well too.

Only ever used VMware products but they're quite robust and pretty simple to set up.

Tails and any other Debian based system is pretty good with security but they are useless with a VM, try dual-booting maybe.
I've only used VirtualBox and VMware.

What do you mean Tails is useless without a VM? aren't they essentially the same thing?

I said Tails is useless with* a VM, because it doesn't provide privacy.
Boot Tails with a USB Stick and it's the best.

yeah i actually just read about that like 5 minutes ago lol, my bad for the confusion. yeah i will probably use a VM in certain cases where I need to use my windows at the same time, but for now I'll be booting from a USB like its suggested on the tails faq

VirtualBox has always been my go-to.

VMWare, everyone using for VPS

i would suggest you to try oracle VM

Virtual Box is the best IMO, easy to use. you need be be impaired to fuck it up.
