I want to do a partial refund for ASOS, but not too sure how. If someone could quickly explain that would be great.

Just like any other refund in this world. Partial means you tell them some of the items are missing and you usually order expensive stuff along with cheap items and say that the expensive ones didn't come.

Returning back items is when you use the excuse for a damaged/broken/non-working device, clothing companies never insist on such a thing. They either send you your "missing" clothes again or refund them to you.
I heard asos is cracking down on partials. Don't take my word for it tho
Don't use asos, many are saying they don't refund and close your account. It's better if you try other sites out there
Avoid asos if you can. They are denying people rn so just go with any other easy clothing store if u can
