dbd ban

is it based on your IP address or steam accounts?

It's based on your pc configuration

so if you get ban once, and create another fresh new steam account and buy a new dbd game key, registered it on the new account, if for some reason you also get banned on the new account for hacking or whatever, would that count as strike 2 ban? How would they even know its associated with the other steam account you got ban with in the first place since its a new steam account?

3rd is permanent hwid ban and you won't be able to play again.. After 3 Permanent bans you get banned in several matches if you buy your 4th account

I’m still abit confused, so dbd bans is not like games like tf2 or others where you can create countlessly disposable new steam accounts buy the game again and get banned and not worry? So if you get banned first time on dbd they will already have your PC hardware configuration even if you create a new alt steam account? if u get banned on another new steam account they already know its the same player even tho you created a fresh new steam account and brought the game again due to hardware id?

From the first time you launch DBD and accept the EULA with EAC, they have your hardware information, unless you are using a hardware spoofer from the VERY START (just look around on the internet...)
After 3 bans on the SAME HARDWARE, they HWID ban you.

a lot of players must have brought new PC/laptop or components due to HWID ban lol? I'm also guessing there are no ways to avoid prevent getting HWID ban besides what you said hardware spoofer programs?

We aren't entirely sure about which components EAC marks for the HWID ban, so we aren't exactly sure about what piece of hardware to change. Some people say just the harddrive(s) are marked, but EAC says they take "Technical information about the hardware used to play the Game, such as motherboard manufacturer, CPU identifier, GPU identifier, and general performance indicators;" This is the only information about hardware in the DBD section of EAC privacy statement(s).

And you will just have to look on the internet hard to find a spoofer that works. There is one/are some, and yes one/some are free.

It's mobo cpu gpu hard drives network card and pcie controller ID and they also stored windows version

Are you saying that there is something I missed in the Privacy statement from DBD/EAC?
I am just trying to find this information, not calling you out :P

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if you already accepted the EULA EAC first time you started dbd, there is no point in trying to use a hardware spoofer after that right, unless you start from a new account? Also when running a hardware spoofer, is it a only one time thing once you accepted the EULA EAC readme, you can go back to your original?

Do most hardware spoofers cover all these hardware ids?

To the first part, no it is totally fine to use a spoofer now even after you have already played the game. Even if you got HWID banned on your actual hardware, the spoofer would spoof your banned hardware, which would allow you to bypass that ban.

To the second part, it depends on the spoofer. The one I have works totally fine for DBD.
