Which source should I use?

So I recently thought of creating my own private server mainly for fun. Creating new items, new dungeons, overall just doing some random stuff with friends. I used to have krazyshanks release (I recall it was his) back in 2015 or 2016. I wanted to start fresh and actually get some stuff going and adding stuff of my own. Which source do you guys recommend? Also, how can I give my friends access to the client (I tried the Yogda thing I saw in videos but it didn't work, maybe I did something wrong but idk)?
I remember there was this "all in one thread" which had all links for any useful tutorial or video but most of them are invalid or the release itself is old.

as3+FSOD imo

If you want build your server from scratch, use as3+FSOD.

NR-CORE. Extremely stable source with a load of features. No behaviours are included though, but it is fun recreating everything from scratch.

Lmao I probably won't do that, I'll take a few just to start and see how it goes, and then create my own.

AS3 + FSOD is just let's name it "clean" - only some basic things are on it, so you can start creating almost every thing you want on it. Of course if you know how

By the way, I haven't checked any of the sources yet so I dunno if any of them have pets or anything, but I was curious if there is a guide on how to add pets. Thanks

AS3 FSoD was the source I used previous to NR-CORE. AS3 FSoD is pretty buggy when it comes down to it. At higher TPS, entity movement goes to shit, so you're pretty much restricted to at most 10 shots per second from a monster (10 TPS was the highest I could go without having pretty much unplayable movement stuttering.) NR-CORE is much more stable in that regard. NR-CORE also has a solid anti-cheat. I personally still use AS3 FSoD for my PvP server, but use NR for PvE due to its stability.

Another thing if u use nrcore and want to make it "urs" There are a lots of things you need to take out so it doesnt seem like u copied the whole source
or you can just make lil edits to them

Yeah I thought of making edits to it. Changing some of the UI, adding my own features. Thanks for the help
