As a data processor contracted by the game publisher, we are only tasked with processing the player information on their behalf. Under EU law, they control the data we process and any queries related to your personal data should be directed to them. The publisher will then forward your request to us and all their other data processors, at which point we will comply with their request in the shortest possible time.
Additionally, the data in question is regarded as necessary for the purpose it was originally collected for: detecting and preventing cheating in games. As such it may serve as evidence of cheating methods being used. This data can also be used by the Data Controller to establish, exercise and defend legal claims in the future. Therefore, under EU law, both Easy Anti-Cheat and the publisher have compelling reasons to not fulfill your request for its deletion.
Should you wish to exercise your right to be forgotten and delete your account, please contact the owner of the platform your account was created on.
