Retrieving Void Aura Drops Random or Guaranteed

Hello All!

I completed the Retrieving Void Auras quest and turned it in only to receive nothing

! According to the AQ Wiki, despite the quest being marked as "random drops" it is supposed to be guaranteed.

Note: The quest reward system is "receive one of the following" despite stating "receive, at random".

I was just wondering which one is correct, does it drop at random or is it guaranteed?

Try to Max out your Essences then Turn in quest in test server. you will get void auras faster. it may be random but i can get 12, 17, or 7 void auras per turn in

Thank you everyone for the advice! @gaffox , it's as you've said, removing it from the drops category of Grimoire and letting it become Get Drop instead worked.! Also thanks for the advice @noob_seran, will do!

In Short, If It Doesn't Say "You Will Receive" Then They're Not 100% Drop.
Check The Drop Rate In The Loader, You'll See What I Mean.

Hmm, not really, Retrieve Void Auras is guaranteed to give you at least 2 Void Auras, with a chance for 5 or 10, the "You may also receive, at random:" is most likely a mistake, there is even a note in the AQW wiki saying it is guaranteed to drop.

Also if you look at it with the loader it is a 100% drop.

If you didn't recieve any Void Auras, the only reason that comes to mind, is that you have the option "Reject non-whitelisted items" checked without having Void Auras in the whitelist or with a typo. (Assuming you are using Grimoire that is)

Hello!! After overnight of farming there still happens to be no void auras

, and yes I do have the reject non white listed items enabled, maybe ill disable that. Did I happen to misspell void aura in the drops part of Grimoire? I did put Void Aura on the whitelist?

I'm currently doing the Retrieving Void Auras quest. I created a bot in Grimoire that farms 20 of each essence and moves to the next "boss" using the Item is in inventory function and goto labels.

I changed the end of bot and removed Void Aura from the Drops category it was previously in and just put it at the end of the program.

You can try using this bot, it's the one I used to farm my NSoD, if it works with it then it might be a mistake you made in the bot.

I See That, I Was Referring To Those Who Had Issues In The Past, Specifically On The Test Server Who Sometimes Got Nothing.

That's the opposite of what you said but whatever.

Tip:

Go to Test Server, but you need to max all the essences and turn in quest in the test server. Guaranteed you'll get drops up to 17 Void Auras.
