Stalking

So umm. Someone is stalking a family friend. Could be a prank could be for real but some mother fucker keeps texting her off a fake number and they have stated her address where she works and have been threatning her. Anyone got any ideas of how to deal with it other then blocking the number and calling the cops.

None gets stalked without reason.

She most likely was a slut who replies to everyone, and giving out numbers left and right.

They were threatening to contact her boss and get her fired so I told her to instantly go to her boss and tell the boss what is going on. Physical harm she isn't afraid of because guns obviously but um she works in a big industry and for a big company and the biggest threat was her loosing her job. So I guess that fixes that but if anyone has any idea on how to trace this shit back I will gladly listen.

lmao, what doc said, and its not that hard to find a phone number online. there are free background checks you can easily get it online, whitepages exist too. wowee ur edge

lol i know you said other than the police, but honestly you either find that guy and do something or call the police, or you can tell her just to ignore it, which i wouldn't recommend

File a complaint with the FBI or in this case IC3. First and foremost you should contact local law enforcement, if the case is serious they'll alert the FBI who'll contact you to make sure you're safe.

Most likely it's bullshit, especially if you're a low profile person. Unless you're a person of interest like a celebrity, politician, or CEO of a large company then you shouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing, although it does happen typically more often towards women and children.

why would you not want to call the cops? call them and report it maybe if they see you are taking action they will stop. better then having someone ending up dead if its not just a prank, there are sick people in this world who get taken over by a feeling and eventually act on it. and it never ends up good for anyone.

maybe also go on the FBI website and make a report on there too, you can fill out an online forum and put anything you want. if the phone numbers change report that too.

otherwise all she can do it change her phone number and be careful who she gives it to
