should I continue with this?

I've been working on a website where you can watch movies / tv shows for free that has no ads, no bs third party links you need to click on (every movie / tv show is already on the website), and another page where you can search up any music you want and listen

now i'm just doing it as a hobby, the website itself is very minimalistic and has no design, just straight to the point, you just search for the movie or tv show you want. My only question is should I even bother continuing with this? only reason I started working on this is because there isn't a lot of sites I've found that offer this for free or being infested with ads and having to watch the actual video on another site. I kinda feel like no one would use it and i'm just wasting my time.

It sounds like a really good idea! But without ads how will you get money to keep the site afloat? Donations?

its one hell of an idea. wouldn't mind one or two ads tho to help you keep the site running. just not those stupid pop up ads. also, dont care a lot about the user interface. as long as there is a search bar and a nice player, the ui dont matter.
Hope you keep working on it.

Throw in a disclaimer to avoid DCMA takedown's. If you ever want to make it public, host it offshore "bulletproof". Just my 2cents.

Where you plan to store your movies? locally or cloud?

Its a great idea but not sure how long you can sustain without an income source because im sure your server cost will be high once the visitors starts to stream the videos. But you can always monetize the site without having annoying ads. Try to find few good affiliate products to promote you will need some $$ rolling in.
