Stablecoin ?!!?
What is Stablecoin ?
Can anyone explain it for me ?
Straight off my boy google: A ‘stablecoin’ is a cryptocurrency that’s price is pegged to a real-world asset like gold or the dollar.

I thought stablecoin was a cryptocurrency because it you said stablecoin and not stable SPACE coin. Apparently stablecoin is actually a a crypto term. An example of a stable coin would be Tether (its probably the most popular one. Its pegged to USD). Cryptocurrencies are volatile (the prices drastically go up and drastically go down). A lot of people don't want the risk of the price of a coin going down. Thus if a coin is pegged to something in the real world which is stable. It means the price of the coin is also stable.

Personally, I think coins which are pegged to precious metals will be the new global currency after the dollar crisis.

To my understanding stablecoin isn’t an actual cryptocurrency. It’s just a term, like hodl or fud. Stablecoin is a type of coin. So USDT is a stablecoin
Stablecoin is a cryptocurrency whose course is directly tied to the price of a certain asset, for example, the US dollar, gold, oil, etc. The meaning of stablecoin is, so to speak, to adapt crypt technologies to real life, that is, to create a stable digital currency that can be used as a universal exchange tool and unit of account for determining / comparing prices for goods and services. Still, investment is investment, but when it comes to commodity-money relations, certainty is very important.
It's a coin that doesn't fluctuate (too much) in value. USDT was the first one I believe but there are now more than a dose, some of them not even requiring fiat backing.
