❗ AntiCheat Disabled

Was browsing the tarkov Reddit and saw a post stating this:

The latest "technical" update removed the anticheat from the game. One of the most popular cheat providers for tarkov have since readded all their previously "detected" features such as Speedhack, NoClip etc...

No ETA on when the anticheat will be turned back on, possibly next patch or in a hotfix. So if you die to a speedhacker or shot through a wall, now you know why.

Has it really been disabled?

I do not advise cheating currently who in their right minds turn off anti-cheat. What I assume they are doing is collecting data and a wipe is coming soon so expect to see a ban wave following it.

There is no "anticheat" in this game, just trivial checks.
