I would say there aren't pros and cons in a way.
At the end of your day it comes down to your beliefs and where you stand on certain ideas.

There are no specific pros and cons of being either one. As crazeeshane commented, it really depends on your set of ideals, and merely choosing which group supports your opinions on these arguments.

Both of them have their own set of beliefs, ideology, policies. No one is perfect
