If i refunded a iphone and got refund email and also a return email does that mean it was failed? Has anyone gotten this? Did yall just wait it out?

The rep probably fucked up with her procedures and sent a refund first, then realised Oh fuck I actually need to send a replacement then pressed the send replacement button after. And I'm guessing the button that allows them to enquire a refund or replacement sends an email automatically as well. Had it happen for Wayfair with rep pressing wrong button while my refunder was on the phone.
Not failed. This is common
Happened to me, got a return email and a replacement email. Contacted them after getting the second iPhone and they took the "return" off
