Paypal advice
Long story short I sold some wheels off my corvette (since I purchased new ones) on a corvette forum for $3500, and the dude I sold them to filed a dispute against me saying the wheels were bent. I was ok with this and offered to refund and pay return shipping or offer a partial refund for damages, he declined and went through with the paypal dispute. I ended up winning the first dispute after sending shipping invoices, pictures, etc. One week later this fucker got his bank to file another dispute against me and I lost. Paypal told me on the phone there is no seller protection when banks get involved, but they would do everything they can for me with the proof I already sent, so now im out of $3500 and my wheels, I have the money to pay this off, but I really dont wanna take 2 L's lol . This is my personal account so don't think I can ditch it. Is there anyway I could negotiate with paypal to pay half or am I completely fucked in this situation? What would you guys do?
I definitely wouldn't sell anything that expensive and accept PayPal
Depending how far the guy is you should pay him a nice little visit
PayPal are not going to do anything useful about this
Next time you sell something expensive take cash not PayPal

Yea I was having problems selling locally and a lot of people sell parts to each other on the corvette forum and they always ban scammers so I thought it would be fine with paypals protection guess I was wrong, but luckily I do have his address and phone number tho
i mean you could just report him to the police

or take matters into your own hands
not encouraging you to do so
Damn you got fucked... You should have his information.... Get the police involved.

Do this(Even though I just learned the seller was the scammer):
Felling so bad for you bro...

I don't understand why people think the sellers crap protection from payapl helps at all it really doesn't it is so easy to chargeback and get your money back and fake proof. Honestly next time accept a different form of payment.
