Yes 100$ is too much o-o.
Its free. Long as you dont charge for it. Thats how it works. and no u can do it on a Dual boot of OSX on a pc.. .

there is a app you can download where you write your sugeston of a app then they send it to apple and if they like it they contact you and give you 70% of the incomes if anything happens

but its not hard to make a app.. if ya can get the SDK to work on a virtual box
and release it on rockbox for free

Fucking communist Apple forcing people to use their SDK if they want to put it in the app store or even on your own blooody iWhatever and having to pay $100 licensing to even get it on you your iCrap even if you don't plan on selling your software, and then making the SDK only for Mac.

Even without putting it on Appstore market, you'll have to get a subscription to make a valid App otherwise the iDevice will say invalid signature whatever when you try to transfer it [the app] on to the device.

If that weren't the case I'd go another route and skip the SDK and make an app with native code.
Unless you just only care about catering to jailbreak crowd, you'll need a subscription.
