this thing is stressing me out been doing it for about 8 hours still cant change country..

Been restarting my Steam for a couple of times and using VPN. And i already used the "add payment method" trick but i didn't work.
and i fucking bought 100$ steam code for the Cheap auric cells what a waste of cash.

you are using the steam client right not the website you have to download steam or if you have it just exit out completely than activate your vpn than run steam client than go to your account and change country always works for me the 2 vpn i have tried and it has worked with is expressvpn and softether

I'm currently using Steam client, Hideman VPN and yes i exit steam and make sure it stay closed with Task manager and activated the VPN before running steam again.. and i cant change my Country all it says here is

Steam has detected your current location as: Russian Federation
Your last Steam Client login country was: USA

Just log into your client normally, no VPN or anything then do this. Close steam --> Use VPN --> Log into steam through browser --> Log into steam through client. Should be able to change it then.
