Hello I have an account with hacked legacy and progress but I wanna play legit so I created a new account and family shared dbd. If I get reported on the new account can they still check my other account's savefile?
Or am I safe if I play on this account without hacked savefile but with the dbd shared from the other account.

AFAIK, family sharing ties another account to the account being shared from, thus if the account being shared to gets banned, the account being shared from also gets banned, I think. Just buy the game again to avoid that happening. $20 is nothing. With all the possible ways you have at your disposal, you could have that $20 for another copy at the end of the day.

Use a vpn and buy it legit from steam for 10 dollar. If you wait for a sale you can get it for 5.
Just keep in mind that if the hacked account get banned the family shared one gets banned aswell automatically, which gives you 2 strikes on your hwid
