Macbook or Surface Laptop 2

Macbook Air if you are looking for swagga

Well in my opinion it depends, I've used a Macbook Pro before, and after using Windows all my life, getting used to is was very difficult. However, if unlike me, and you're already used to it, go ahead with the Macbook Air. I heard its a great laptop for all the coders/programmers out there.

If you're planning to get serious with programming though and prefer to use a Windows OS, here are some top 5 laptops that are great for programming, which at number 2, is Microsoft's Surface Book 2:

Can speak from experience that the surface is an amazing laptop. But honestly if your looking for battery life the MacBook will probably be the best choice for you.

Looking for a laptop myself , feel like if you're running alot of private bots they don't support ios and many just support windows.

Windows OS is most suitable for programming, cheap and lots of tools work well with windows platform

I'd go with the Surface. I've had both a MacBook and Surface over the years and love my Surface, I'd take it over a Mac any day. I often found that when using a Mac, I'd have to look for alternatives for programs I always used, and it was a huge pain in the ass.

Go with Apple.

Honestly, no Windows laptop company can deliver such QC as Apple does. Dell is horrible with it for example. Coil whine, screen flicker, battery swelling, screen ghosting, screen glow, crackling speakers and so on.

Surface Laptop 2

For gaming, neither

Depends on the coding that you know that you are going to be doing. I currently have a macbook but for a few of my classes I need to code in C++ so I have to dual boot my macbook. Otherwise I would say go with the macbook, best simplicity.

If you want to save money on the way, highly recommend the Huawei Matebook x Pro... way better than a macbook air IMO

And you get windows which is a win win...
