Which course should I choose?
Im mainly interested in web development and I know a lot about coding.
I have 2 courses to choose,
Programming in JAVA
Programming web applications and mobile (which is more web dev focused)

I have never used languages such as C#, Java. Should I make a big switch and go onto Java course? Is it a huge difference between programming in JAVA and web development?
I'm not a coder or expert, but I think Java/ Javascript is the way to go. also HTML & CSS should be taken into consideration.
Codeacademy should be somewhat helpful.
For web development I would suggest you to check Angela's web development on Udemy(Paid). It covers everything based on web development and I would recommend it to any beginner or intermediate. hit me up if you want more details
Java and c# is beginner friendly ( java can be hard at first ), Anything front end or web desgin -/ javascript is becoming big again.
Academind on youtube has great tutorials for web development.
Javascript is basically what to learn if you want to do web development as can be used for front end and server side and can even be used to create mobile applications.
+1 to Academind. Youtube has a lot of resources
I'd say that the switch between Java and Web Development is pretty signficant, as someone who knows both. Java is a great language to learn but it won't be that usefull for web development. I'd learn javascript.
Go for Java. Web dev will be easy to pickup after.
Java will be the best option, web development will be as follow.
java is a great fondation for understanding the way programming works but has nothing to do with webdev so i guess the 2nd course is for you. if you rlly wanna get into web dev i suggest u to learn following languages in this order:
1. HTML

more infos
- its not a coding langauge but important to master
- pretty easy to pick up
- its the foundation of the website
- html defines the content of ur site
- html defines the structure of a website
- a good structure will enable a better use of css
- make sure to learn modern html

2. CSS

more infos
- make sure to learn modern css(VERY INPORTANT)
- this languages does the styling of a website
- css can bring functionality like hove menus
- avoid css to create functionality its made for the styling(how the website looks)
- start with vanilla css dont jump into stuff like SASS

At this point you can create ur first decent looking static websites and start practice desing

3. Javascript

more infos
- creates the functionality of a website(for example sliders, dropdowns etc)
- Javascript and java are 2 different things
- javascript can also be used calculations and verify input
- learn vanilla javascript(dont start with jquery)
- again dont learn jquery until u mastered vanilla javascript
- javascript can also run serversided with nodeJS
- dont look into node js yet master vanilla javascript first
- u gonna fuck up a lot while learning javascript! everybody does dont think u suck!

At this point you are able to create interactive websites these 3 languages are enough to create some pretty awesome stuff!
These 3 languages are the very fondation of webdevelopment

4. SQL Basics

more infos
- its important to have a basic understanding on how a databank works
- learn the mysql basics
- read an article about "no sql databases" to get some basic knowledge

5. Basic Backend

i suggest to learn some basic php there are lots of good alternatives but php is probaly the easiest one to apply on beginner webprojects

learn following stuff first:

more infos
- syntax
- variables
- calculation
- all kinds of loops(if, else, while, for etc.)
- arrays
- functions
- include, require
- functions
- mysql
- mysql security(SUPER INPORTANT)
- session and cookie
- login systems

Now u can create pretty advanced websites based on databases like blogs, basic browsergames(most likely textbased) or even a little forum to hang out with friends!

At this point u know quite a bit about webdevelopment so u can move on to more advanced stuff like adcanced php, frameworks(for css, javascript or php), advanced sql stuff or even annother backend language

BONUS: Some tipps to learn faster

more infos
- learn at ur own speed dont push urself until u burn out
- a good combination between books, webtutorials and video tutorials help the learning process
- dont copy and paste code! its okay to use code from the web but atleast type it down by urself to memorize the code
- learn to write clean code
- be active in forums! ask questions and also answer questions if u can help
- dont forget to thank people for help! they invest their free time to help you
- physical books are better than e-books in terms of learning things
- its ok to google things, everybody does!
- create ur own projects
- create projects that help u with some daily tasks(like an calendar web app or whatever)
- share ur prohjects with friends, family and maybe even the forums ur active on
- learn to write clean code with propper formating and lots of comments
- try to work on a project together with a small team(2-5 ppl) the experience is priceless
- its okay to be proud even if ur project is pretty nooby(programing is a long learning curve, its normal to progress slowly)
- code(and learn) atleast 4 days a week with atleast 2 hours per session! regular coding is important to learn it
- dont stop coding for longer than a week, u will forget stuff quickly in the begining

Good luck on ur codng adventure!! i know its probaly a bit overkill sry for the long text lmao
java

it'll help u learn OOP basics if u wanna start coding.
Java for web implementation
Java is definitely a good language for learning purpose. But for pro work i would recommand reactjs and nodejs. They are a little bit harder to learn tho. Look for Maximilian Schwarzmüller on youtube
