close enough...
run --> cmd --> ipconfig /release --> ipconfig /renew
The previous replies are assuming one thing, a static IP. My router didn't like doing that because it gave me a dynamic IP, and my internet would die whenever I tried giving it a new IP. The thing is, if I was IP banned from something, the "Dynamic" aspect never kicked in, and I was constantly banned, lol. Just read this guide to make sure you have a static IP first.
Follow that guide to make sure you have a static IP first. After that, either manually change the IP Address through TCP/IP properties or do what the previous people suggested.
You are stupid it only works if you have a Dynamic ip for the release and renew fuckface, static ips are named static ips for one reason, you wanna know why? BECAUSE THEY ARE STATIC MEANING THEY DONT CHANGE
see? why can't i be gmod? i'm just as helpful as (and much nicer than) iverson
