Radar hack works only internal or does it work with external as well?

Yes. External Radars are possible. Tough making these is a lot harder.
Easier would be to make an internal one and use the already the in-game built in Radar.
For the external one, you need to run the game in Fullscreen (Windowed) Mode.
Since you can't draw something over a - in Fullscreen - Window. Explaining that would be too long.
Also recommended are at least 2 Screens. But of course, you can do Overlays which overlap the game.
I, myself, don't like these. But it's only my personal taste.
