Hello, I was trying to PM someone because I won a giveaway, and since I can't IM them, I'm trying to private message them. When I send the PM, it doesn't show up in my (sent messages) section. Is this normal?

This setting can be found in your User CP under General Settings -> Messages and Notifications (scroll down). Was this checked to false?
If that was set to true it's possible you messed with the individual PM settings which can be found below any new message.
