Banned by Overwatch without playing competitive

Hi,
Recently I have made 2 new accounts in the last week. I cheated on them for a bit but after only 1 day they were both "convicted by overwatch" without playing a single competitive match. I played a few casual matches on both, Anyone know whats up?

cheat is detected. ow ban will be transfer to VAC.

i highly suspect valve are manually banning players who get too many reports in DZ/casual when they cheat... similar thing has happened to me without playing any MM i got my account which i was playing DZ only banned :/

Impossible. Overwatch only exists in competitive / wingman.

You probably got Untrusted or VAC banned.

If you get too many reports in a month for example, it is possible that you get picked out.
No Competitive / Wingman is necessary for this. And well. Everything else is unknown yet.
It could be possible that Valve got methods to ban people for cheating of which we don't even know.

i got ow ban for bug in game that valve didnt fix, and they still didnt remove the ban.

Overwatch ban will convert into a VAC ban as it happened to me before.
