The concept of "words have no power unless people give it power" when it comes to making the case for white people using it quickly falls apart on itself and here's why: the word was already given power years ago.
For centuries now the word has been used exclusively for the purpose of dehumanizing black people. Saying that the only reason the word has power is that we currently give it power ignores the entirety of American history. So unless you have some magical way of writing slavery,segregation,red-lining,etc... out of history and writing the role that the n-word, eugenics, etc... have played in legitimizing said horrors out of history as well, then I don't see us just magically taking the power out of hateful speech.
Now as for the point "black people are allowed to be racist". What the fuck do you mean by that?
If what you are talking about is the fact that black people are allowed to say it, then the reasoning is simple. They are taking the power back. It isn't because black people can't be racist, there are many many examples of racist as fuck black people.

Race relations in the west are now worse than they were maybe 10 years ago. A lot of POC now want white people to be apologists for anything that's happened in the past, the radical left is a good example of how racism is normalized against white people. The media is apart of the problem, and they love stirring up some controversy, they'll continue to incite these issues as it generates more viewers for them.

I mean western culture is already inherently racist. Every major developed nation used slave labor, colonization and forced religion to opress minorities. White people, wether you like it or not are born with an advantage over the minority groups in our country. Especially in america, racism is such a deep rooted issue that literally was the foundation of this country, piggybacking off of the work of slaves and native americans, forcing them to adopt the white mans religion (and the the white jesus), white men forced assimilation of the natives forcing them into boarding schools, separating the children from the adults. The white men from before literally snuffed out the minority groups culture, religion, and language because of something called manifest destiny. It took 31 presidents (who where all white) to start acknowledging the impact the american government has had in the native american population (which anyone can argue are the real owners of this country). Whites have since the early 1300s seen those that are not like them as inferior, stemming back to the misconstrued perception of the hindu aryans, who wherent white blue eyed btw. Whites in america are 1. much more likely to be born into wealth 2. much more likely to get health care, child care, services 3. much more likely to succeed socially. Thats because ever since the dawn of this country those who where the wealthiest where the whites, the slave owners where all whites, the white children where the only ones allowed to go to school, the white man was the only one allowed to own things, the literal government put into place laws demeaning other ethnicities, why do you think it still carries on? Black people are not criminals from birth. They are born into generally a less priviledged household, they are called names by white people, and have to deal with obstacles we whites are not aware of. We are so used to being white and having everyone around us being white that we dont rly know what its like to not be white, we are all racist whether we like it or not, because not only is it subliminal and subconcious but it is literally engraved into the white culture, school only teaches the accomplishments of whites (and no, its not because whites are the only ones who have made crazy developments (also how u think they could do that hint: better education and priviledged life) there are tons of black, hispanic, and asian americans who have contributed significantly to our country and nobody learns about them) The plight of a black man is soooo much different than the plight of a white man. Blacks where second class citizens up till the fucking 60s, not the 1860s but the 1960s so as you might not know a majority of institutional structure is based on just flawed racist ideology. Whites have always had the upper hand, whites where always the racist ones and not the other way around.
