Honestly don't get the point of consoles anymore. I guess you do get to play on a big tv instead of a small monitor...Like before id get a console to play the exclusives, but nowadays exclusives aren't enough to make me want to drop a couple hundred on a console.

Though, I do not understand why would anyone waste money on Xbox, since Xbox PC beta app is available right now, and so is game pass, admittedly not with all of the games, but head of Xbox or Microsoft (I don't know which was who, who said it) have said that they're bringing all Xbox games to PC, or most of them if they can due to licencing and what not, so in my mind, that makes Xbox waste of money.

I don't know yet I have always loved Xbox due to the social aspect of it. I also like the controllers and the way the dashboard is set up a lot more. But on the other hand everyone has kind of turned over to PlayStation, in my area at least. Also, Xbox has always been plagued with errors like RROD and now what I am currently experiencing black screens and update errors. We will just have to see how they both play out.

As a 100+ IQ gamer, I don't care as I'll probably buy and enjoy them all. Personally it's about the experience and how you like/enjoy the game you're playing.

We should probably see the ps5 before we decide on which one to buy. I'll probably lean towards the xbox since I've been using xboxes all my life and they tend to have better backwards compatibility.
I don't know how to build a PC, but of course PC specs will ALWAYS be better than console. However console is always a cheaper alternative and most friends play it, so I think I would stick to PlayStation for social situations.
