major question?
I am currently learning c++, but i don't know which template to learn. I am just learning now how to write console applications will that help in dll making?
I am confused, i just want to make game hacks. Thanks guys.
Hacks aren't part of the basics of C++ so you might as well forget about it for now. Start from the basics.
Wanting to learn how to hack games is not a good reason to start learning C++. You should learn C++ for the knowledge and possible future careers. Knowing how to make hacks is just a big plus you get from learning C++. Besides if your planning on making an ESP and not trainers you have a lot of learning ahead of you consisting of D3D API and maybe some others. You can't learn everything from templates, you have to code yourself and it'll take a while to learn everything you need to make a good hack.

This man knows what he's talking about.

I guarantee if you start programming and learn the basics of Direct3D ( non-hacking ), you will understand how D3D hacks work without even having to have made one. Get the idea of hacking out of your head and you'll be okay.
Ok, Thanks guys. You're right i shouldn't just learn this to make hacks but for other things, thanks a bunch.
I've posted a link to a good reference that gets u starte right from the very beginning to advanced concepts of the Windows API
