They say it will pass csgo in a short time. Thoughts?

(it wont imo)
People still play CSGO?
Well I think the concept of the game is innovative but the fact that they're claiming it will surpass CS:GO is just complete non-sense. CS:GO is still owning to these days, if you look at their statistics they're breaking their own records every week.

You can't just surpass a legacy with a game that being made by a pretty known studio. Well, I think it will do good when it releases since most big streamers will voluntarily play it if not getting paid to do so but again I'm pretty sure that surpassing Counter Strike is just purely impossible.

Oh yeah, games come and go and CS:GO is still CS:GO
I'll play any Riot game anyday, looks fun to watch in early dev.
It definitely will CSGO can't last forever. Of course it all depends on Riot's dev team but I trust them to do everything but balance.

20 years tho
Feels like a mix between Team Fortress and Overwatch. Not a big fan
i dont think there's going some game which could replace CS:GO in it's genre. CS:GO is classic game which has community based more on it's history and great moments of esports. that's something - imo - impossible to beat right now.
Ever since Riot Games was acquired by Tencent they're doing insanely well in development of new games. High hopes.
High hopes. Lots of good reactions and opinions from respected people in the competitive scene.

FPS games aren't Riot's bread and butter though. The studio does, however, have some huge names from CSGO working on this too.

Would love it to be good. Would be interesting to see how this new game shakes up the world of esports. Riot games have the capacity to create a huge competitive scene with a global outreach from the get go.

Only time will tell.
