New trade exploit?

Apparently some dude on reddit make a post saying that when trading he saw that the item he was buying was selected, and only when accepting did he realize he didn't get it. Is this something new, and does anyone know how it might be recreated? The only thing we know is that the scammer apparently used a third party client to change the trade timer.

Nah, its just your average short span realm player who accepted the trade when looking at the pretty colors in the exalt client.
