Problem with crossfire

I downloaded crossfire today and updated it was fine xtrap came up, but after that nothing happened. I tried reinstalling like 5 times restarted and 10 times turned off anti virus programs or other programs, but don't seem to work.
Who got a solution here?

Give us your system specs.

Windows XP: Control Panel > System
Vista/7 : Control Panel > System

Run as admin and service pack 2. You have to tell us what happens when you try to run it.

admin i tried don't work and what u mean by service pack 2? win7 don't have that LOL

Did You Download it Off The Official Website ? Did You Try Closing EVERYTHING Down And Trying .. , Umm , If Not You Might Have To Get A New Computer ;D

Try Installing Win 7 On It Then It'll Work ! ... :P

hey do you have mcafee?
if so
Ctrl+Alt+Del then see if xtrap is running and so yeah
if you do you have to disable mcafee
open up the control for mcafee make sure its on the advanced menu and click configure and then whre it says virus protection enabled click no
and then click okay on the popup

try getting gamebooster and shut down any unneccesary programs

keep trying start crossfire
just keep trying
after 5-10 times CF starts
