The pak files have been fixed by bhvr. You can still use a bypass pak file but only temporally before you get an EAC error and have to close the game. Fortunately you have enough time to get your BHVR Session code and inject a save file but that's about all we can do at the moment. BHVR added something that detects if a pak file has been changed or modified in anyway, and so far there is no way around it.

cuz for this current 5.3.0 update the pak file is different. There is a signature file assigned to every pak file in the folder. Im unable to repack it like how i used to. currently experimenting on different alternatives. As of now the repacked pak is only able to load for a short time just to get your bhvr cookie session for profile mods. Not for fiddler at the moment to unlock cosmetics/surv/killer. I got kicked out of game and lobby within minutes .

What I've noticed is that Fiddler doesn't have to be running/capturing the entire time for cosmestics/DLC; it's only needed after the initial title screen ("Press Any Button"). Since it works for roughly 40 seconds before getting kicked, wouldn't it be possible to inject then eject(?) before getting kicked?

No, you don't get kicked because fiddler is running, you get kicked because you modified your game files to get it working with dbd (at least the methods most people are trying) and unfortunately that means that even if you close fiddler you'd have to restart your game, which means you'd need to reopen it with fiddler to unlock cosmetics/dlcs. I think that should explain the circular nature of the problem well enough. The goal would be to try to find a way to stop the game from detecting/kicking you, or to find a new way around it rather than having to modify game files

Only downside is you can't use Shaders or Nvidia Filters on the Windows Version. You can uncap your FPS but that's about it. I ended up changing a few colour settings as well in the Nvidia Control Panel but overall the game still looks like crap haha, worth it for the free dlc and skins though

omw! and yea big W for microsoft also you thought the game didnt always look like ass? lol

I mean on steam I used Filters and Shaders so it makes the game look at least half ok on Low Graphics XD but yeah I shouldn't have expected anything less from BHVR lmfao
