Cannot bypass the Loading Screen movie anymore?

Hi all,

Before the Deathslinger chapter, I would simply change the filename of the LoadingScreen.mp4 file located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead by Daylight\DeadByDaylight\Content\Movies to skip it when launching the game.

I stopped playing the game a shortly after the Oni chapter, and when I came back during the Deathslinger release, I tried changing/deleting the file but the game would not launch without it anymore.

The same thing is happening during the Silent Hill DLC, here's a screenshot of the exact error message I recieved earlier:

Can anyone help me out here? I'm stuck. It's super annoying with the loud audio and having extra clicks to get into the game in general. If anyone also knows how to disable the News popup in the menu that would be fantastic, I can't find the right setting in GameUserSettings.ini

This isn't answering my question.

Verifying the game cache will make Steam redownload the LoadingScreen.mp4 file and thus when I launch the game it'll play all the time. I know that clicking on it takes you to the pre-menu screen, again, that wasn't my question.

Previously, you could just change the name/delete the file to skip it altogether, saving a bunch of time and annoyance at the beginning in general, they changed something and I'm asking if anyone knows how to bypass it now.
