How did this guy do this?

Just went on omegle and this chick told me how some dude said something along the lines of "bet I can guess where you live." Pretty common right? Yeah people pull IPs all the time, it's the fucking internet. She keeps going on about how he named her teachers from the last three years, her parents name's and workplaces, her grandparents names. I asked her if she shared any social media with this dude or clicked and linked and she said she didn't. I just wanna know how he did this so I can stay protected myself. I go on omegle quite often and I'm not trying to get doxed.

My guess is he simply did tons of research starting with IP. IP you can get info like state or county. Maybe she gave her real name and he was able to use that name and county to find a bunch of matching social media profiles. From there if it's not set to private, maybe he just read a bunch of status posts. See what photos she's in/tagged in. etc. Unless he's like some next level 1337 leet haker who cracked her social media passwords.

Simple. VPN .

Omegle calls don't usually take more than a couple minutes so I'd assume this guy already knows that person otherwise he'll have to be some extremely skilled hacker to pull that up as Bernard said.

He would need to be either a very skilled hacker or just a skid that's doxing someone that leaves their information extremely easy to trace online

Packet sniffing probably or something similar. Found this video you can check it out if you want.

For how to defend yourself. Just use goddamn VPN or don't go to omegle it's a s simple as that.
