how does CETERA's "grab items" work?

what is it for? how do we use it?

To me this sounds like something that grabs the Item ID and allows you to display the item on your player character. My guess is this is only clientside though.

My question to you is how is Cetera still working for you??? I can't get it to log in on any server or even load the game page.
