Any Overclockers?
I'm having issues with my RAM kit when it comes to speeds. I have Trident Z Royal 32GB @ 4000mhz but I cant get the speeds over 3600mhz no matter what I do. I've tried messing with timings, dimm voltage, CPU overclocks, and yes I tried to enable the XMP profile with the same issues.

My Specs:

MOBO - Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro (LGA 1151 300 Series)
CPU - Intel i9-9900k @ Stock Speed
GPU - Asus Strix 1080ti
PSU - EVGA 1000w GQ
RAM - Trident Z Royal 32GB (x2 16GB)

The RAM description states its XMP 2.0 but I have no idea what that is. I just want to be able to run the RAM at the advertised speeds or even 100mhz under would be fine. But I feel like I either don't know what I'm doing in the BIOS or I have faulty sticks. Any help would be sweet.
Assuming that you have timings, voltage, etc set correctly, the issue could lie in the MOBO or CPU but a quick look makes me believe both can handle that specific RAM. I'm not sure on this one, tried contacting support?

Don't just blindly play around in BIOS either, I'd either watch some videos on how to do it or have someone experienced do it for you
XMP refers to factory overclock. You see when you get ram they are not automatically clocked at 4000mhz, some ram is clocked at 2666, or 2133. What the factory is doing is guaranteeing you that this RAM has been tested and can run at XXX speeds.

Whenever you try an overclock, first turn on XMP profile in your motherboard. i used to have your motherboard, its like middle-top tier in DRAM, so it should have no problem hitting those overclock.

First turn on XMP. Dont fuck with any other settings. If it works, thats good. If not, then try giving it slightly more voltage and running Cinebench to stress test it.

If you do all of this and have problems, then there might be a problem with the motherboard, CPU, or PSU. Who the fuck knows. Take the RAM out and put it back in to make sure its seated right. If its just 2 sticks, move them to different spots.
