Can someone please give an in depth way to set the IM up so I can use them properly, thanks.

Step 1. Press the chat button on the bottom left corner of the site

if you dont see the chat button just click chat in top left corner just under the logo 
idk bro the chat hasnt worked for me for months. when I click chat all it does is load up the home page. don't even see a lobby button on bottom left.
