I just got vac banned today. I received 50k auric cells for free from the seller 4 days ago. Nothing really happened for 2 months of hacking bloodpoints, ranks, shards, items, addons, offerings and so on. Then as soon as I received hacked 50k auric cells, I got vac banned so never hack auric cells. I bought another product key for my second account and I started hacking items and perks again. I don't really regret getting vac banned because I had fun with my first account and I knew that I was risking myself.

It's definitely from the auric cells. It's just funny because the message I got was "abusing bugs or errors in design to gain a competitive advantage."
BHVR is so stupid. They'll ban you for auric cells but never for anything else. It's really hilarious to be honest. You can hack away at the game and be fine but as soon as you touch what makes them money they ban you for "competitive advantage" lmao. Auric Cells don't give you a competitive advantage what so ever. They can go fuck themselves for that ban reason. ��

Could changing prestige levels (not legacy) affected my ban risk more? I used https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1508354 this simple save editor. All characters' prestige upto level 3 dates were randomly generated and the legacy level was not touched though. I think they could detect the accounts which auric cells recently have been added and examine the profile if anything is suspicious. My profile looks apparently hacked with all perks, items, addons, offerings and all prestige level 3 characters within 4 months after the purchase so once they see my profile, it is going to be banned 100%. Or it was probably my mistake hurrying too fast using 15k auric cells as soon as I received hacked 50k auric cells in like 5 minutes? I'm just curious about the main reason why they would suddenly check my profile. I want to be more careful next time with the main and common reason if it affected more mainly compared to auric cells or really just because of auric cells. What's your opinion, detected mainly more because of prestige levels or auric cells?

You cant be surprised if you get banned for hacking Paid Currency or DLCS since thats how devs get their money and they do their best to detect and patch those methods and ban the paople that used them.

Kinda, but its also your own fault for buying something that you can get banned for, if you are scared of getting banned, just dont cheat. but good point to.

if you get banned, the reason that you get is abusing bugs or errors in design to gain a competitive advantage. kinda makes no sense but its bhvr that is full of braindead people.

Well... You all knew this was coming. Every few months, there is a ban wave for people who hacked auric cells. It's direct revenue loss for BHVR. That's why it's their number one priority. They are a business after all.
