Modern Warfare Bans Affect Cold War

I have tried with 2 different accounts. If you have been previously banned on modern warfare (perm ban in my case) you will be banned on cold war. It will take 1-2days to affect cold war but when you open the game it will say your account has been banned from Activision servers.

If this happens to you immediately refund the game. Blizzard didn't show my game as banned in the launcher yet but maybe after a while, it will and it may affect your ability to refund. Trying to bypass the ban now bust we will see.

i was banned on mw but have been playing cw, i am playing legit however tho lol. i have seen services like unbanster but have yet to try them cuz it sounds sus lol. Idk, if you get a bypass tho LMKKKKK id die to get my shit back lmfao

ive used them for fall guys. the person i talked tp was very helpful and they took the time to really read my case and type up their own personal response to my situation. alas, i didnt get unbanned but they are very slick with their words. im sure if i didnt message fall guys support before finding unbanster explaining in full detail i was hacking they probably would HAVE unbanned me. id probably purchase from them again if i got banned on here just to try my luck. whats 20 dollars when you probably spent money on the colf war hack to begin with, unless you got a free version then i understand why you got banned to begin with...

Im not sure about this information. Because i've been hwid banned on MW. Creating new accounts with a fully formated hdd/ssd + new ip + fresh MW download, still got banned after I login. I can play MW again only by activating my hwid spoofer. Now i'm playing Cold War since day one without any spoofer and I didn't get banned yet(im playing legit). I don't know what that mean but it's my case.

Weird I have been playing legit as well and I got banned both times after 1 day of owning the game. I do have cheat engine installed but never ran it or tried to use it with cold war running. I may have ida pro installed too but again not running. So I don't think cheating is what caused my ban, I have a strong feeling its the fact I have been perma banned from MW. When I launch the game I get a message saying my account has been banned from accessing activision servers.

Did you get a message in-game or did it show in battle.net launcher?

I never have ever gotten a battle.net launcher notification for a game ban. Even across my 3 MW banned accounts before cold war was a game.

I am not shadowbanned, I spoof and clean registry and monitoring files and use a VPN every time I launch the game.

I don't have CE or IDA installed, but it shouldn't matter since we're not running them to get catched and banned. This is soo weird
+ i'm using a memory editor to make my personal zombie trainer, i didn't get banned yet.

Yeah same here, have been playing cw for like a week now and i got perm banned on mw

When I got perm banned on Cold War, I got a ban on MW, so vice versa for me.

I got banned on MW so many times that I was hard marked as a cheat dev and I was unable to play at all without a spoofer. Got shadowbanned a few days ago on cold war, not cheating. Still shadowbanned and am still able to play in shadowbanned lobbies. Hopefully it gets lifted after a week or two like MW

I was banned on MW from all my accounts for hacking, and i'm playing CW just fine on one of the banned accounts. So I would assume this info isn't for every banned user. More of a user beware kind of thing. I've been playing since the Beta and on release, and I have to been kicked from CW servers.

For those wondering how to play cold war if you are banned on modern warfare you will need to remove some files and change windows guide.

Here are the files you need to delete. Obviously uninstall modern warfare and cold war if you have them along with the battle.net launcher.

Once you delete those files change the windows guid (search it on youtube).
Then make a new account and you can buy cold war without getting banned. If you do get banned immediately try to refund and do the process over again.

Weird I got permabanned and the launcher showed I was banned and wouldn't let me launch modern warfare. I got banned cause I had Ida Pro open when modern warfare was running. Maybe they see that as a more serious thing. Idk.

This is completely false, I've been playing on the same banned Activision account since this game was released, just prestiged and even used mods on PC but still no ban.

happened on 2 accounts, so no not bad luck. Maybe you removed files before playing cold war or you weren't perm banned like I was.
